Sickness – 4 Ways To Stop It

If you could rid your household of coughs, colds, fevers, and snot, would you take a shot? At this point you’ve probably accepted those things as a part of life that can’t be avoided, like a stranger’s bad breath. I’m here to tell you that you can avert the diarrhea run, and make your house happier, healthier, and hospital free.

Sickness – The Cause

When we break it down, there are really only 4 things that cause sickness.

1. Nutritional Deficiencies – the North American population is severely deficient in the nutrients required for optimal health. This is largely the reason for the widespread sickness and early deaths we are seeing today. Typically the blame is placed on genetics. It is true that genetics plays a role in your health, but a very small one compared to how you feed your body. Genetics is simply your inherited profile, which can be guarded against and reversed if you understand that weakness and how to address it through your nutrition. Genetics is not a death sentence – blindly accepting it is!

2. Toxins – we are constantly bombarded with toxins through our food, air, and water. The higher our toxin levels become the greater chance for a breakdown in the body which will result in a disease process that will attack the weakness in your genetic profile. The body can only sequester toxins for so long before your toxic cup “runneth over”. Your ability to avoid toxins and consume foods that naturally detoxify the body will ultimately determine your level of sickness and how quickly your body ages.

3. EMF Chaos – electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) are a silent killer. We do not see them, and sometimes do not feel them, but we often experience conflicting energies through computers, appliances, power lines, airports, and more. This often results in sickness.

4. Stress – we all experience stress at one point in our lives, which can be healthy, but not at the consistent and nagging rate at which we do today. That’s the price for complicating our lives and constantly wanting more than we have.its time to simplify, relax, and enjoy what we do have in our life and be thankful for it. This will go a long way to eliminating sickness.
So how do you start to eliminate sickness for a stronger, healthier, and more energetic you?

First of all, have your nutritional profile or levels checked to see where your deficiencies lie so you can target food and supplements that will bring those elements back into balance. Then start focusing on how you can get more healing foods into your body, such as fruits, vegetables, and superfoods. Your immune system will then start to fortify, which ultimately determines how often you get sick. “Catching” something is a half truth – we all are exposed to bacteria and viruses, but the strength of our immune system will determine our sickness, or merely have it taken care of unnoticed. For a good primer on nutrition, check out the nutrition issue of Organic Lifestyle Magazine.

Then you want to start addressing the toxins in your life. Choices we can make are the food we eat and the water we drink. Start choosing organic and get a quality water filter. The EWG has a great page which outlines which produce you should always go organic and others that are not as important. This will significantly lower the amount of toxins you consume each day (and they taste a whole lot better too!).

Avoiding EMF’s is like avoiding your ex – try as you may but eventually they are going to find you. So how do you protect yourself? A good quality diode or collection of energy frequencies that synchronize and promote a healthy human energy field will provide a counter force to the inevitable EMF’s you will encounter (as you read this blog, they are affecting you).

Last, but definitely not least, stress is a leading cause of sickness. Stress can be through nutritional deficiencies, toxins, EMF’s, and your thoughts, so it’s not hard to believe how we all encounter it on a day to day basis. The constant battle to balance work and home life, as well as our budgets, has taken its toll on society. The best advice I can offer is to spend less time at work, more time with your family, and do what you love to do. Spending 40+ hours a week at a job you don’t like is a sure shot for stress to creep in, yet that’s what the majority of people do to make ends meet. It’s a vicious cycle but one that can be broken with enough conviction and an open mind to alternatives.

When it comes to health, we are not looking for perfection. However, the pursuit of it will leave you in a much more desirable place. Make improvements in as many of these areas as you can and watch your health and mood improve, as well as your budget for Kleenex tissue and toilet paper. Sickness really does add up, so address your nutritional deficiencies, eliminate your toxins, neutralize EMF, and cut the stress.

After all, if you lose your health does anything else really matter?
